“This was my 14th marathon and definitely the most organized, planned-out race I have done. From the communication leading up to the race, to the expo, to the buses and finish line, it was all perfect! Thanks, Colorado Marathon!”

Amy from Fort Collins, CO, review via Google

“Love this race! It was my first marathon in 2007 and I can’t even remember how many times I’ve run the half.  Beautiful course. Looking forward to running the full again this year! 3rd time’s a charm?”

E.G. from Salt Lake City, UT, review via marathonguide.com

The first 15 miles or so are a gentle downhill following the Poudre River. It was a beautiful morning and traffic was limited up the canyon. Other than the initial mile or so, there was ample room to get on pace and not be hemmed in. This was the best part of the race, and I was stunned by the natural beauty.”

Mark Saunders from Fort Collins, CO, review via comarathon.com

By doing every marathon, I have learned so much about myself and the race. First, it took a few years for me to truly be appreciative of all the volunteers that get up earlier than me and stay on the course later. They make the race. The volunteers are more important than the runners. Second, I can finish a marathon under any circumstances. I have had great days and misfortune on race day, but every year I still get to the finish line.”

Half Marathon Reviews

Gina from Minnesota, review via bibrave.com

“This race was one to truly enjoy your experience and the scenery around you. Open pastures, beautiful foothills, Colorado mountain air. I am SO glad I chose this race.

“Even though this race has a small field size, I much prefer that over very large races. It was an intimate race with a fabulous post-race celebration in Old Town Square. If you haven’t checked off Colorado on your state list – do this race.”

Frank, review via raceraves.com

“I ran the half marathon. It was a personal record for me at 2:20. That was about 60 half marathons into my running career; I’m at 72 now, and I have not topped this finish… I would run this race if I were in the area. I run all over, but I usually tack on a race while traveling. I’ve never done a ‘destination’ race. I could see this being that for some folks, and you wouldn’t be disappointed.”
